
Student Advice!In our MAA classes we learn to combine clinch, takedowns & groundwork techniques from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Shootfighting and other Wrestling Arts, combined with punches, kicks,elbow & knee strikes from Muay Thai, Boxing and other Stand up Arts. Our classes are structered in a way that allows students to learn in a safe & relaxed atmophere, with an emphasis on technical ability & not just pounding your training partner. (as a hurt training partner leaves you with no one to train with!*) *Anyone found using excessive force or trying to prove their worth, will be respectfully asked to find a new training location! Students use single training techniques both standing & lying on the mat, while using a training partner to drill techniques against progressive partner resistance & Pads, light submission partner rolling(sparring) is also used to safely test your skills. The warning given to Students with reguards to use of force within training, underlines the core principles of the Nemesis Combat Sports Academy and is just as important at any of our Classes, we promote sports and reality training at a level that is as intense as possible, but with a level of force that is always safe!
